We are not
the story.
The record is.

End Ragging is an independent reporting project built to document what closed doors, power hierarchies and institutional memory often leave out.

01 / WHY

Ragging depends on fragmentation. One student remembers a room. Another keeps a message. A parent saves a complaint number. An institution calls each event isolated.

Reporting joins the fragments. Not to manufacture certainty, but to test claims, preserve context and make patterns harder to erase.

02 / OPERATING RULES

No spectacle.
No rumour board.
No automatic verdict.

VERIFY

A submission begins as an unverified tip. We separate firsthand knowledge, hearsay, documentary evidence and official findings.

MINIMISE

Victims and vulnerable witnesses are not collateral. Unnecessary names, personal details and identifying metadata stay out of publication.

REPLY

People and institutions facing material criticism receive the substance of the claim and a meaningful opportunity to respond.

CORRECT

A published record can be challenged. Material mistakes should be corrected, and important later evidence can change the story.

03 / THE UNNAMED DESK

The people behind this project are not publicly named.

That is a deliberate protective choice. It is not a claim of special authority, immunity or perfect anonymity. Readers should judge the work by its sourcing, precision, fairness, corrections and the evidence each article can responsibly show—not by a personality attached to it.

04 / BOUNDARY

This is a newsroom.
Not a tribunal.

End Ragging is not a government body, college committee, emergency service or law firm. It cannot order disciplinary action or guarantee that a submission will be published.

For immediate danger or official action, contact emergency services, police where appropriate, the institution and the National Anti-Ragging system. The newsroom form is for independent journalistic review.
